Infected Blood Inquiry
In response to the Infected Blood Inquiry, NHS England would like to identify anyone that may have received infected blood through a blood transfusion before 1996.
Evidence shows it is extremely unlikely that anyone would get a blood-borne illness through infected blood after the introduction of universal blood screening in September 1991 however, if you are not sure or do have concerns you can obtain a free blood screening kit to test for Hep C
